Now we are into March it's important to check your sprinklers, ensure they are watering the correct areas and also that your timer is set correctly. Sprinklers can get broken over time by lawn mowers and foot traffic but can also become damaged by tree roots and grass covering the heads.

With the hurricane and power cuts we've had I noticed a lot of timers are not set up with the correct date and time, always water early morning (6am) so that the sun can dry off excess water, irrigating at night can promote 'root rot' because the grass and plants are sitting in a wet landscape for several hours before the sun rises.
